Our Family Has Been Insuring Your Florida Since 1957
J. Foister “Moon” Mulling was known as a straight-shooter and someone who was always looking to help others when he sold men’s clothing in Downtown Auburndale. A customer once said, “If you sold insurance, I would buy it from you.” He thought that sounded like a good idea, so in 1957, the Mulling Insurance agency was born. He sold personal and commercial insurance right out of his clothing store.
Through the decades that followed, the agency has continued to grow, but the standards of honesty and reliability that Foister established remain at the core of what we do.
Learning from the Past, Envisioning the Future
Foister’s son, Jim Mulling, joined the agency in 1971. Jim’s son, Kevin Mulling, followed in 1997, along with Jim’s son-in-law, Mark Spann. Jim, Kevin, and Mark own the agency today.
Our agency now employs over 40 accomplished associates and offers a wide variety of insurance and financial products to individuals and businesses. Keeping with the tradition passed down through the generations, we provide the same level of high quality service regardless of account size.
